Are your cabinets looking old and dated?
Then let me share with you
It’s a game changer.
I’ll show you why.
I’m sure you have seen all of the images of the incredible watercolor wall coverings going around Pinterest lately. They are amazing. I love the fluidity and the sense of calm it can bring to a space.
I wanted to create this look in the studio but I wanted to DIY it, rather than order a wall mural.
I absolutely love the way it turned out!
I love brick.
Brick walls, brick floors, brick ceilings. Any and all of them. Brick can really give a space a unique and textured look, whether left natural or painted.
I decided to add a brick wall section in the design studio for photographing furniture and I wanted it to look old. I wanted character and layers of time.
The process was quite simple!
If you paint a lot of furniture you know what I’m talking about.
The bending, the up, down, over, repeat. It can be a killer on your back.
That’s why we decided to
at the Design Studio.
Why, oh WHY, did we not do this years ago?
It was a face palm moment when I realized I needed these. You know, one of those times when you are actually shocked at yourself that you had not thought of something sooner.
Especially considering how simple and cheap these were to build.
At the design studio, I need file cabinets near my desk. If not, I file in the floor.
It’s not a good look.
But neither are file cabinets. They are. So. Ugly.
So I decided to make my file cabinets pretty with this easy diy file cabinet makeover!
It wasn’t hard at all!
