Sleek, sexy, beautiful and the epitome of good design details.
I’m sharing My Love of All Things Acrylic.
Don’t forget the GIVEAWAY at the end!
I’m sure you guys have figured out by now how essential mixing design styles are in my opinion. I believe it makes for beautiful rooms.
Mixing styles keeps a space fresh, timeless and interesting.
As a designer, I never want anyone to walk into a room and say
“this room was done in 2010”
Seriously, I would die.
Timeless elements are incredibly important to a space which can be lived in for years, never tiring and never dating themselves.
It’s one of those go to pieces that can bring a sense of agelessness to a room. Acrylic can mix with any style and can work in any space.
When I say acrylic, do you think of something like this?
Extremely edgy, contemporary art pieces?
While I love this and it would look amazing at the Casa, this is not what I mean. If you think of acrylic as something that can only go in the most modern of homes, I’m out to change your mind.
Take a look at this gorgeous room.
What a gorgeous space. Traditional and elegant, with a touch of shine from the coffee table. Pure perfection.
Again, a true classic. (that fringe though….wow)
But maybe you go a little more daring? These hand-crafted corbels are quite incredible.
Bring in a small piece, like this side table. Perfect for a book and a cup of coffee.
Not all acrylic is clear. I love the Panton chair originally designed by Verner Panton in the 1960’s. I used this style in the Casa at the breakfast table.

This Ghost Chair color mix is interesting and fun!

Clear Ghost Chairs with the pelts are gorgeous in this farm house style dining room.
These coffee tables are perfect here. They help keep the room light and airy.
I hope I am convincing you how acrylic can work with any style, traditional, modern, rustic…. Trust me, you need this in your life.
