San Francisco Decorator Showcase Part Two

September 18, 2018 • By

Welcome to part two of the San Francisco Decorator’s Showcase home tour.

This home was so impressive that I had to split it up into two separate posts…my design eyes couldn’t take more stimulation all in one post.

If you can’t tell, we freaking loved touring this house!!

To learn more about the showcase and tour part one, go here.

This lovely little space was a quiet respite off the master bedroom.  It was a place for reading, reflection and quiet.

But here – BOOM!  This master bedroom was a delight for the senses.  And was I ever delighted!

The walls, my friends, are upholstered in loop brush fringe.  Yes, you read that correctly.  Absolutely amazing.  The windows were open and the breeze was ever so slightly blowing the fringe.  Mind.  Blown.

And that sitting bench addition to the bed?  This picture really does not do that piece justice.  In person, you really wanted to curl up on that!  I loved it!

You guys.  This master bath.  Wow.  There was not a detail left undone in this space.

This sophisticated bathroom is all about glamour, from the marble veining on the walls, to the brushed brass fixtures to the deep green tiles.

I love the over-dyed rug and the dough bowl as bath tray, too, which adds just the right amount of texture and softness.

And ladies, this is all you!  This dressing closet off the master bath was the bomb.  A place to organize your self for the day in the morning and a place to have a quiet toddy in the afternoon.

The tile on the right hand wall was incredible.  An abstract floral relief from some exotic locale.

Did I mention this place has a zillion dollar view?  Gah!!!  That’s the Golden Gate Bridge in the left window.  Don’t you love how the simplicity of the white easily allows your eye to see past the room and go straight to the water?   Once again, as all the spaces, this room was amazing.  I love the color palette, the simpleness and the art.  The vibe of this room was very zen.

In the lower level was the Lady Cave.  Wrapped in luxurious fabrics, this room just sucked you in.  I thought the mixed fabric seating sections were brilliant and playful.  I would guess the inspiration for the space was the art, everything in the space played to that.  Lovely.

The last space on our tour was this cozy room that makes me want to curl up in a corner with a good book, hence why they call this room “the reading room.”

From the cool, layered art on the floor and texture on the walls to the pops of colour throughout the space, I wanted to stay in there all day!

That’s a wrap for the San Francisco Decorator’s Showcase tour!

What was your favorite space?  I’m having a hard time deciding – I loved so many of the details!

Again, if you missed part one of the tour, go here.  See the grand list of designers of the San Francisco Decorator’s Showcase, here.

A huge shout out to all of the artists, designers, and photographers that poured their hearts into this project.

The BHE and I thoroughly enjoyed touring this showcase home.

Until next time California…
